Long term care to be discussed at PTC SPRY meeting March 5 Amy Pollock, representative from GE Capital Assurance Co., will be the guest speaker for the SPRY (Senior Presbyterians Remaining Young) luncheon Tuesday, March 5, at 11:30 am at the First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City. Polluck will provide information on long term care protection, preservation and prevention. The educational workshop will cover many aspects of long term care, such as how to protect life savings from the catastrophic cost of nursing home stay, what Medicare covers, when long term care insurance is appropriate, and challenges of adult children as caregivers. The program is open to anyone interested. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share if they wish to have lunch at 11:30 a.m. Those not wishing to have lunch may attend the presentation only, which will begin at 12:15 p.m. For reservations, call the church office by noon, Monday, March 4, 770-487-7757. |
