PTC football team proves they are good with their feet The Peachtree City Packers indoor soccer team completed an undefeated season with two victories last weekend. On Friday night they avenged a previous 3-3 draw against the Metro Stars with a 10-2 win. The following day the Packers came from behind twice to claim the U-10 Boys Recreational Soccer Centre Championship with a 5-2 win against the Mutiny. The Packers finished the season with a record of 8-0-1. The team, comprised of football players from the 75 pound division II bracket also enjoyed an undefeated football season. Half the team had never played soccer before. "They made great progress from the very beginning," said Coach Gil Miranda. "There is no denying that these boys are great al around athletes. I'm especially proud that we finished the season with all eight players scoring a goal at least one time during the season." Miranda went on to remark on how smooth a transition it was to make them a competitive soccer team and how blessed he feels to have worked with such great players and parents.
