PTC Church of Christ plans evangelism, friends day The Peachtree City Church of Christ has two special activities coming up and invites the community to be its guest at both events Sunday, Feb. 24, will be Evangelism Day at the church, with all services centered around that theme. Lonnie Jones will be the speaker for all three services. A Bible class, "Ambassadors For Christ," will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. based on "The True Pattern for Biblical Evangelism." Evening worship is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will center around "Lifestyle Evangelism." "Lonnie Jones is a highly motivational speaker," a spokesperson said. "He will provide both the information and the inspiration to make us more effective in sharing Jesus with those we love." The next special event will be Friends Day, scheduled for Sunday, March 3. Members and visitors alike are encouraged to attend services and bring a friend. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and worship services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. "We hope to reach our goal of 202 people that day," the spokesperson said.
