Wednesday, February 13, 2002 Woodland named Wieland South Region president Ed Woodland was recently named President of John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods South Atlanta Region in a move that positions the company for further growth and expansion in the region. Ed joined the company in 2000 with more than 15 years experience in home building as a division manager with DR Horton in Jacksonville, project manager with Taylor Woodrow in Florida, and with Toll Brothers in Philadelphia. Ed is responsible for all sales and construction operations for eight Wieland neighborhoods including The Regency, Regency Hills and Regency Oaks in south Fulton's Cascade area; and Lakeside on Redwine, The Estates of Southampton, Southampton, Centennial and Whitewater Country Club in Fayette County. Founded by John Wieland in 1970, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods is currently building in 60 neighborhoods throughout the Southeast, with 1,344 closings and revenues of $500 million in 2001.
