Indoor climbing event this weekend

The Atlanta area's newest indoor climbing gym is celebrating its grand opening in style. Escalade owner/climber Chris Sierzant is inviting you and all his hardcore friends to throw down at the February Fallout 2002, which will take place Saturday, Feb. 9. Registration starts at 9 a.m.

Several top professional climbers will be competing for the cash prizes so the action is sure to be spectacular. This climbing competition will be in a redpoint format; try a boulder problem as many times as you like but no points unless you make it to the top. The finals will be in PCA style format. Take I-75 North to Exit 271, Chastain Road. Escalade is three miles ahead on the left. Go over Cobb Parkway and into Cobb Industrial Park.

The fee is $20 Pre-registration, $25 Day of the Event, $10 Spectator Fee (no exceptions, this goes to the cash prize).
