Hopewell UMC ladies Bible study starts Friday

The ladies of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will begin a Bible study Friday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. The topic is "Faith: Lessons on the death and resurrection of the Messiah," by Focus on the Family. Healing, miracle crusade set for Feb. 22 in Jonesboro

Greater St. Peter A.M.E. Church in Jonesboro will host a Healing and Miracle Crusade led by Prophet Frank Nattiel of Release Ministries, based in Fayetteville. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22 at the church. Host pastor is the Rev. Isaiah Waddy. Music will be provided by the Greater St. Peter Praise and Worship Team. National Heights plans Valentine fellowship

Members of National Heights Baptist Church will have a Valentine Fellowship covered dish supper Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. Men will prepare desserts for judging and awards. Those attending are asked to bring love songs on a CD or a tape for the D.J. National Heights is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Rd. just west of Fayetteville. Providence hosts blood drive Feb. 19

The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Providence United Methodist Church Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Those wishing to donate blood are requested to sign up in advance and secure an appointment. Volunteers also are needed to assist at the registration table, help with the nursery, provide snacks, etc. For more information, call the church, 770-719-8800.

Contemporary Christian music at FPC Wednesdays

Nativity schedules three Ash Wednesday services

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will offer three services on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 13. In addition to a children and family service at 5:30 p.m. and a traditional service at 7 p.m., there will be an "early bird" service this year at 7 a.m. All three services will include the Holy Eucharist and the distribution of ashes. (The 7 a.m. service will be thirty minutes or less.) All are welcome. The church is at 130 Antioch Road, Fayetteville. Inman youth to present concert, spaghetti supper

The youth at Inman United Methodist Church will entertain with a concert of praise music, traditional hymns and special solos Sunday evening, Feb. 24. The concert will be followed by a spaghetti supper. A love offering will be accepted. Proceeds will be used to finance the youth Spiritual Life retreats and renovation of Weldon Griffith Hall. Southside Baptist Church will have a dedication service Sunday, Feb. 17, beginning at 10:30 a.m. After the service, the congregation will host a covered dish dinner, followed by special singing from 2-4 p.m. Southside Baptist is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville.

Inman UMC plans adult Valentine dinner

Adult members of Inman United Methodist Church will have an adults only Valentine dinner Friday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Family and Age Team and costs $8 per person.
