Organizational meeting for adult softball league on Tuesday

An organizational meeting to set the 2002 Spring/Early Summer Adult softball program has been set for 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center.

Leagues will be offered in Co-Ed, Men's Church, Men's 40 and Over, men's industrial, Men's Open and Women's. A minimum of four teams will be needed to form a league. If necessary, two or more classifications may be combined to form a league.

All necessary forms to register a team will be available at the meeting. Information will also be provided relative to playing days, times, location, entry fees, deadlines and local rules and regulations. Established deadlines for this season are: team registration, Feb. 19; entry fees due, March 7; roster and waivers completed by March 25 and league play to begin on April 1.

A late fee will be charged for any team failing to pay the required entry fee on or before the deadline.

This league is organized for the residents, churches, organizations, businesses and industries of Peachtree City and Fayette County. If space is available, teams outside the county will be allowed; however they will be charged an additional 25 percent of the entry fee.
