Thanks to everyone who recycled Christmas trees

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's Keep Fayette Beautiful Christmas tree recycling event. With the support of our local sponsors Home Depot, The Kroger Company, White Meadows Tree Service and Dumpster Company, Environmental Partners, The Fayette Citizen, The Fayette Neighbor, WXIA Television and The Georgia Forestry Commission our Christmas tree recycling was successful.

Fayette County collected a total of 3,000 trees at four recycling sites. Your trees were chipped into mulch to be used in parks, school grounds or even some of your own back yards. By recycling your Christmas tree, you help to protect and enhance our environment. Thanks for making Fayette County a better place to live by recycling your Christmas tree.
