Chamber's banquet features former FBI agent as its guest speaker The Outstanding Business Person of the year Award will be presented during the Annual Meeting of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, Jan. 26 at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7. This year's meeting will feature guest speaker Clinton R. Van Zandt of Van Zandt and Associates Inc. Reservations for the meeting are now being accepted. Van Zandt is president of Van Zandt & Associates, an investigative support and threat assessment group, specializing in behavioral and forensic analysis. Van Zandt is a 25-year veteran special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prior to his retirement he was a supervisor assigned to the FBI Academy where he worked with the bureau's internationally respected behavioral science or "Silence of the Lambs" unit. Prior to joining the FBI, he was a special agent with U.S. Army Intelligence and is a Vietnam War veteran.
