We're all guilty of hurrying

I was shocked to read the letter that Ms. Stanfield wrote. She was "inconvenienced" by the death of a child? How dare she?

I am personally involved in both of the major accidents that have happened in Fayette County in the past few weeks, and I am appalled that she had the nerve to sit and compose that letter. I would love to see Ms. Stanfield's driving record. Has she never been in a rush to get home to her family, or never been frustrated by the traffic that plagues Fayette County?

I most certainly think not. It is something we are all guilty of, and to have the audacity to write a letter that a grieving mother may see is simply unacceptable. I hope that Ms. Stanfield is never "inconvenienced" by this happening in her own life. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

I hope that the next time Ms. Stanfield happens upon a car accident, it will not only remind her to be more careful, but also remind her just how truly precious life is.
