How cold, inconsiderate

I was appalled at the letter written by Kaye F. Stanfield titled, "A tragic lack of patience," in the Dec. 26 issue of The Citizen. I was even more saddened that you even printed it.

She was very cold in her explanation of how she "happened to be inconvenienced" at the accident scene on Ga. Highway 279 when Marvin Moore was killed. Teen drivers don't plan to inconvenience other drivers with their mistakes, tragic as they may be. They just don't have enough experience driving and they sometimes, unfortunately, make deadly decisions behind the wheel.

Shame on you, Ms. Stanfield, for being so cold and insensitive to this family's loss and to all of Marvin's friends. Maybe you could apologize to them and just work out of your home from now on!
