The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Mass., is lending five major Renoir paintings to the museum, including one of his greatest works, "At The Concert." The exhibition will last until Feb. 24. The Winslow Homer exhibit and the Monet exhibit will close Sunday, Jan. 6.

January also will feature a number of different films from several nations. Germany will be well represented with films every Friday, such as "The Legend of Rita" Jan. 4, "Anna Wunder" Jan. 11, "Just Fooling Around" Jan. 18 and "Gloomy Sunday" Jan. 25.

Saturdays in January will honor the work of James Mason. "Odd Man Out" will play Jan. 5, while "The reckless moment" will be screened Jan. 12, "Lolita" will be shown Jan. 19 and "North By Northwest" will be presented Jan. 26. February's films will be from Spain and France.

All screenings are presented at 8 p.m. in the Rich Auditorium in the Woodruff Arts Center. Screenings are $5 for general admission and $4 for students. Phone 404-733-4570 or visit www.high.org.

Kodac Harrison will be doing poetry readings and admission includes admission to the Renoir exhibit. Admission is free to those with a college ID and $8 for everyone else. There will be a cash bar and door prizes. College Night occurs twice a year and is from 7-10 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 19, the museum will present a King Holiday celebration. There will be storytelling, a film presentation, docent-led tours, mixed media sculptures, musical performances from Deconbluz and Holysmoke and an opportunity to create a work of art while listening to the musical sounds of the 1960s.
