The death of my friend

Upon hearing of the death of my friend Marvin Moore...

For Marvin

How frail an entity life is,

But don't cry,

Here's to making the most of life.

Yet did we learn a lesson?

Don't cry,

To lose a friend is to lose a hand,

and now I cannot write,

Yet did we learn a lesson?

How frail an entity life is.

To lose a friend is to loose an eye,

and now I cannot see,

In the blink of an eye, we learn

How frail an entity life is,

But time won't stand still!

In the blink of an eye, we learn

Here's to making the most of life,

But time won't stand still!

How frail an entity life is.
