The 2001 Christmas Break Junior Golf Camp will take place Dec. 21 and 22 for a fee of $80, Dec. 26-28 for a fee of $120 and Jan. 2-4 for a fee of $120. The camps will run from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Lunch, drinks and prizes are included. The camps are open to players ages 6-14. Phone 770-969-4469.

The Scott Fletcher Baseball Camps will take place at the old Fayette County High School Gym in the LaFayette Educational Center, Dec. 27-29 from 9 a.m.-noon. Providence United Methodist Church located at 592 Bernard Road in Fayetteville is offering its second annual Indoor Soccer League. This recreational program is open to all children ages U6 -U9. There is a 30 minute practice and a 30 minute match each Saturday in January and February 2002. Registration runs through December. The fourth annual Georgia High School Indoor Soccer Championships will be Jan. 2-4 at The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville. Teams will play the Futbol Rapido format in which games are 25 minutes long and each team is guaranteed four games. 770-460-8785.

The Fayette County Youth Soccer League will have registration for boys and girls spring outdoor soccer at the Soccer Centre Saturday, Jan. 12 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Jan. 14-18 from 5-8 p.m. Ages 4-19 are welcome. The Tyrone Youth Baseball Association will have registration for spring baseball Saturdays, Jan. 12, 19 and 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 27 from 1-4 p.m. at Shamrock Park. The Fayette County Wrestling Club, open to children Grades 1 through 8, practices two nights a week in the old Fayette County High School gym. The fee for the season is $80, which goes towards the wrestling card, a t-shirt and the FCHS wrestling team. The club finished second in the state last year. System U Speed is now recruiting people interested in the highly competitive sport of inline speed skating.
