Principals chosen for new schools

As Fayette County's two newest elementary schools move a little closer to becoming a reality, the top posts at both schools have been filled for the coming year.

Council moves through busy agenda

The Fayetteville City Council took the following action in Thursday night's regular meeting:

Design of Hwy. 54 widening includes room for growth

When Ga. Highway 54 west in Peachtree City is widened to four lanes, state transportation officials expect to have traffic volumes as high as 42,000 cars a day

A new Corvette could be a child's lifeline

The effort to build a children's emergency shelter in Coweta County is picking up steam this holiday season.
