Area hotels sponsor Breakfast wth Santa After all that has happened in the last few months, the teams at Comfort Inn, Union City and Country Inn and Suites, Atlanta Airport, felt it was important to offer families a free activity they could enjoy together. With this in mind, they contacted Shannon Mall, and decided to host the mall's annual Breakfast with Santa event Saturday from 9 - 10 a.m. in the mall's food court. Activities include an encore stage performance by Mr. Puppet, arts and crafts, and holiday gift bags for each child. Good old Saint Nick will be the highlight of the morning's events. In the past, the mall has charged for the breakfast, but through the hotels' efforts, families can enjoy the breakfast at no cost. "Our children have dealt with a lot of negativity over the last few months, and what better way to make them smile again than to let them spend time with Santa," said Ann Foster, area director of sales and marketing for the Rossmore Management Group. "We are a part of the community, and we feel it's important for us to support parents by offering a free holiday activity they can enjoy as an entire family." Parents agree, and have responded enthusiastically by picking up tickets as early as the first week of November.
