Peachtree City United Methodist sets community Christmas events

Members of Peachtree City United Methodist Church recently announced plans for several Christmas events and invites the community to join in.

The children and adult handbell choirs will present a concert of seasonal and sacred music Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

A birthday party for Jesus is planned for Saturday, Dec. 15, from 2-4 p.m. The celebration is for children through fifth grade. Activities will include singing and face painting, and cake and ice cream will be served.

On Sunday, Dec. 16, the Music Ministry will present "One King, A Christmas Musical," at the 8:30, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. services.

On Monday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve events will begin with a children's service, "The Mouse's Tale," at 5 p.m. Candlelight Communion services will be held at 7, 9 and 11 p.m.
