Senoia First Baptist will offer Christmas drama Dec. 9, 10 The Drama Ministry at the First Baptist Church in Senoia, with the assistance of Word To Life Ministries, will present a three-act comedy entitled "The 'Joy' of Christmas," Sunday. Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. The play is about the Clayton family and how each family member sees the holidays. "Almost all of us can see a little bit of ourselves in at least one member of the family," a spokesperson said. The play was written by Jim Gant and Fred Hottensen, cofounders of Word To Life ministries in Senoia. The ministry helps churches present the Gospel through various forms of dramatic media art forms. Gant and Hottensen currently have written and produced several plays that have been presented in various churches throughout area. One of their plays has been published in a national catalog of church plays and is available for national distribution. There is no charge for admission but seating is limited. The play will be presented in the church auditorium. Senoia First Baptist is at 41 Johnson St. in Senoia. |
