Atlanta Tipoff Club announces preseason rankings
The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced its Georgia high school preseason basketball rankings over the weekend. Local players and teams are represented on the list. East Coweta's Ashley Strickland and Newnan's Megan Darrah are on the Region 4-AAAAA preseason all-region team, while Landmark Christian's Rashedah Arnold and Ashley Key are on the Region 5-A preseason all-region team. Key is also on the Top 25 of all classifications. Landmark's girls are ranked 12th in Class A. The Sandy Creek boys are ranked 12th in Class AAAA and Landmark's boys are ranked seventh in Class A. McIntosh's Josh Burr is a member of the Region 4-AAAAA preseason all-region team, while Landmark's Brady Rockmore is a member of the Region 5-A preseason all-region team.
