Where are the Bibles in our Fayette County courtrooms?

Where are the Bibles in our Fayette County courtrooms?

Recently I visited the Magistrate Court of Fayette County and the State Court of Fayette County's Civil Division.

The absence of the Holy Bible in both courts required one to swear an oath with their right hand raised and their left hand ... left out.

Where are the Bibles? Shall we invite God back into our court rooms?

I suppose our wise, patriotic forefathers provided the Holy Bible as a reminder and a caution about testimony given for eternity in the presence of God, too.

Don't we still need to humbly declare, "So help me God"?
