Weed has vision, integrity and qualifications for post

The only thing constant is change. Some see change as a threat, while others see it as a challenge, or an opportunity to progress and to grow.

Living on the west side can be a challenge at times. Certainly, with all the development that is taking place, the west side residents can say they are living in the middle of the changing face of our city.

With this change it is necessary to have community leaders with vision, leaders that can learn from the past and look toward the future with clear-cut and innovative ideas.

Nov. 27 is an important day for all Peachtree City citizens. We can bid the "status quo" farewell, and welcome a new day in the leadership of Peachtree City.

Among the Post 4 candidates, Murray Weed is my choice for councilman. I feel he is the one that has the vision and qualifications to meet the challenges and opportunities that will be placed before us as a city.

I believe him to be a man of honesty and integrity, qualities that are much needed in our city government. He has served in different governmental capacities and is well-qualified to represent the citizens of Peachtree City. As a councilman he will be responsive to our needs and issues. He is willing to listen to ideas from the communities and will work toward open communication.

Murray is concerned for our safety and well-being. Placing a police substation in the Wal-Mart/Home Depot area is just one example of the concern he has for us as his friends and neighbors.

Peachtree City has a reputation as a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Do you want to see it get better? Do you value honesty and integrity? Do you want a person that represents your values? Do you want a leader that actually wants to listen to what you have to say? Do you want safe communities, more recreation for your family, someone with vision and is not afraid to accept a challenge? You know what to do Win with Weed by voting for Murray Weed.
