Body of Christ Christian presents Ulf Ekman Sunday

The Body of Christ Christian Church will present Ulf Ekman, founder of Word of Life Church, Sunday, Nov. 18, at 8 and 10:30 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. Ekman's church is the largest church in Sweden. He also heads up Word of Life Bible Center which has missions in Russia, the Czech Republic, Albania and India, and he serves on Oral Roberts University's board of regents. Covenant Presbyterian celebrates 25 years Nov. 18

Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will celebrate 25 years of worship this Sunday, Nov. 18. with commemorative morning worship and evening Thanksgiving services. Morning worship will be at 10:50 a.m., the evening service will be at 5 p.m., and a light supper and fellowship time will follow. Covenant began 25 years ago as a small church meeting in a storefront in Riverdale. Today it is situated on 15 acres in Fayette County with a sanctuary, Covenant House and a new education wing. McDonough Road plans holiday events

Special events coming up in November at McDonough Rd. Baptist Church include a special Thanksgiving service on Sunday, Nov. 18, regular Wednesday night activities rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20, and the hanging of the greens on Sunday, Nov. 25. Fayetteville First Baptist ladies plan Christmas dinner

Ladies at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have their annual Christmas Dinner Buffet Thursday, Nov. 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollingsworth House. Cost is $5 per person. McDonough Road ladies plan Cookie Swap Dec. 1

The ladies ministry at McDonough Rd. Baptist Church will have a Holiday Cookie Swap Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Those attending are asked to bring three or four dozen cookies and an empty cookie tin. Sign up at the church or call the office, 770-460-5423.
