Harp's Crossing will offer parenting seminar Nov. 18

Harp's Crossing Baptist Church will present a Crossover Parent Seminar featuring Keith Stell of Tyrone First Baptist Church this Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4:30 p.m. The topic is "Preparing for the Ice Cold Holidays: How to Fuel Your Family."

The purpose of the presentation is to acquaint families with Biblical instruction for worship during the holidays and to give encouragement intended to curtail discord and enhance connection. Communication and problem-solving techniques will be presented.

Stell is associate pastor and student pastor at Tyrone First Baptist and has Master's degrees in religious education and marriage and family counseling. He presently is working on his Ph.D. in Biblical counseling with the University of Liverpool.

He has 13 years experience in the field of counseling and 70 percent of his clients are teens. Some 85 percent of those teens are males between the ages of 12 and 19.

Those who will need childcare should call the church office by Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Refreshments and a fellowship time will follow the seminar.
