'Toy Story 2' hits the ice at Phillips Arena By MICHAEL

"Toy Story 2" enchanted audiences in movie theaters around the world. Now, all the fun and excitement comes to the ice at Phillips Arena. Woody, Buzz Lightyear and all the friends from Andy's toy chest are reunited in this family-friendly adventure. The plot focuses on the gang rescuing Woody from an evil toy collector who stole Woody from a yard sale. Woody is the missing piece from the Roundup Gang and the toy collector is planning on selling the entire collection to people in Japan. Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the toys have to rescue Woody and let him know that his friends still care about him. Disney On Ice's presentation of "Toy Story 2" features award-winning, world-class figure skaters from around the world. The show features incredible special effects, including a 16-car smash up and the lowering of an airplane's landing gear high above the arena's floor. Performances start tonight at 7:30 p.m. and will run through Sunday. Performances Thursday and Friday will be at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Performances Saturday will be at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday's performance times will be at noon and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com.
