Former mayor Brown to speak at SPRY Fred Brown, former mayor of Peachtree City, will be the speaker for this months' luncheon meeting of SPRY (Senior Presbyterians Remaining Young), scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 11:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City. Brown will discuss the city's Frederick Brown Amphitheater, its origin, history and growth. SPRY meetings are open to all persons age 50 or older. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and invite a friend. First Presbyterian is at 206 Willowbend Rd. For more information, call the church office, 770-487-7757.
