It's Toys for Tots time in Fayette

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty offices will once again serve as south metro collection points for the annual U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign.

Jerry Nesbitt, managing broker of the company's Fayette County office, is again the coordinator for the firm. This is the 54th annual Toys for Tots drive, and this is the 20th year that Coldwell Banker Bullard has participated in the effort.

Area residents wanting to contribute can drop off new, unwrapped toys at a Coldwell Banker Bullard office or one of the other collection points, and the Marines will take it from there, distributing the toys to needy children through local charitable organizations.

Nesbitt said this year's collection effort will begin the week of Thanksgiving, and Dec. 21 is the deadline to bring items to Coldwell Banker Bullard office. For those preferring to contribute money to the campaign, a check made out to Toys for Tots will be accepted.

The campaign has grown from a small project in the Los Angeles area to a nationwide effort. The campaign has the support of a wide array of other organizations, groups, committees, local businesses and national corporations.
