It is the first time that there will be a children's festival along with the car show. The proceeds will benefit the Children's Home.

The children's festival will include arts and crafts booths, clowns, face painting, the moon walk, as well as myriad food booths and entertainment from local singers and dancers. The Barfields will perform at noon and the Palmetto Senior Citizen Center Dancers will perform at 1:30 p.m.

There will also be booths featuring Mary Kay products, jewelry and hand-painted crafts. Groups can sponsor booths for $25 each. 104.7 FM The Fish also will be on hand broadcasting live from the event and giving away concert tickets.

The car show will have several categories, including classic, antiques and street rods and awards will be presented to Best in Show and the top 10 in each category. Awards will also be presented to Trucks, best in show and top 10, and others, top five and best of others wheels. Judging will be done at 1 p.m. based on people's choice awards.
