Religion Briefs Fayetteville First UMC plans 'Blessing of Animals' Members of the community are encouraged to bring their pets to the "Blessing of the Animals," in the Family Life Center parking lot of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. Owners are asked to bring appropriate restraints (cages, leashes, etc.). F'ville 1st Baptist presents 'Walk in the Light' Saturday Members of Fayetteville First Baptist Church invite the community to participate in the annual "Pumpkin Walk" Saturday, Oct. 27, from 7-9 p.m. and a "Walk in the Light" at the church in downtown Fayetteville. A black light presentation is planned for 7:30, 8, and 8:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the church. Food and glow sticks are free. |
