Friday is Funday at PTC Kedron Fieldhouse The Peachtree City Recreation Department has scheduled a Friday Funday for Oct. 19, which is a student school holiday, at Kedron Fieldhouse from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with check-in to begin at 7:45 a.m. The event was planned to help parents with day care while the kids are out of school. A full day of programming is planned for ages 5 to 12. The cost is $25 per child. A mini-clown school will be conducted by Doodle the Clown. The children will learn magic tricks, face painting and balloon sculpting. In the afternoon the Fayette-Coweta Family Theater will present a Reader Theater production; a live stage presention from the Phantom of the Opera and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will be performed by Impact Productions. A storyteller and fantastic gym games will also be part of the afternoon session. This is the second year the Recreation Department has offered the program. Registration is limited to 60 children. The deadline is Oct. 12 or when the maximum enrollment is reached. Call 770-631-2542 or 2525 for additional information.
