Pat Forest, former Pentagon official, to speak at Joy Fellowship meeting

Pat Forest, former Army colonel at the Pentagon, will be the guest speaker at Joy Fellowship, the women's group at Trinity Fellowship Church, Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.

Forest served in the U.S. Army for 28 years and had assignments all over the world.

"When Pat surrendered her life to Christ, He healed her spiritually, emotionally and physically," a spokesperson said. "God is using her for His work as a board member of the Peachtree City chapter of Women's Aglow, a worship leader for the Charismatic Prayer Group at the Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel in Fayetteville and Living Logos Church in Newnan, and as a songwriter and evangelist."

Forest's former office at the Pentagon was destroyed in the recent attack on Washington.

"She has friends and relatives in New York who were miraculously spared from the World Trade Center that day," the spokesperson said. "Come hear about God's hope for America during these uncertain days."

Childcare will be provided during the meeting.

Trinity Fellowship is at the junction of Ga. Hwys. 54 and 34, behind the Hot Spot and Collector's Corner in Coweta County.
