WhiteWater announces new nine hole golf course By MICHAEL

WhiteWater Creek Golf Course hosted the Hooters Memorial Cup on Monday and unveiled an additonal nine hole course, which brings the facility's total up to 27 holes. The tournament featured local and national celberities, including former Olympic swimmer Steve Lindquist. This was the ninth year of the tournament, formed to honor 1992 NASCAR Winston Cup champion Alan Kulwicki and Hooters employees Mark Brooks, son of CEO Bob Brooks, Dan Duncan and Charlie Campbell, who were killed in an airplane crash near Bristol, Tenn. The Memorial Cup has raised over $1.1 million to assist worthwile students at Clemson University. The official grand opening of the nine hole course will take place in the spring, according to WhiteWater officials.
