First Baptist single parent workshop is this Saturday The Fayetteville First baptist church will have a single parent workshop Saturday, Oct. 6, from 8:45 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church. Workshops will cover a number of topics including home safety, legal issues and finances. Members of the Brotherhood, will offer oil and filter changes as well as brake and fluid checks for a $5 fee. Child care will be provided. Children ages eight and older will take a field trip to a local farm and other children will enjoy activities at the church. Those wishing car checks or child care should call the church and make a reservation no later than Thursday, Oct. 4 For more information, call the church office, 770-461-8378.
