First Baptist ladies meet for prayer Oct. 9 The women's Missionary Union and the Women's Enrichment Ministry at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church will meet for prayer Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 9:30 a.m. in room 129 of the church. "God is calling on WMU to take a leadership role in restoring the power of prayer as the focal point of our homes, our church and our missions of ministry," a spokesperson said. "WMU has always been a strong prayer force for the Lord's work. We are calling all ladies of the church to join us." Both members and nonmembers are urged to attend.
