Religion Briefs Sew-N-So starts at First Baptist Thursday night Women of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville will have a sewing and sharing group in the Fellowship Hall beginning Thursday, Sept. 20 and continuing the third Thursday of each month from 6-10 p.m. Ladies attending are asked to bring something to sew, something to share and something to snack on. First Presbyterian women plan yard sale Sept. 22 Women of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a yard sale Saturday, Sept. 22 to benefit the Fayette Samaritans and the Calvin Center. Other events planned for the 2001-2002 year include a Taste of Family Fair Nov. 17, a lasagna dinner, variety show and mother-daughter banquet. Cornerstone church celebrates 20th anniversary Cornerstone Bible Church will celebrate its 20th anniversary Sunday, Sept. 23. Sunday school classes will not be held. Gospel Singing every Friday at His House His House Community Church will offer gospel singing each Friday night during September beginning at 6 p.m. in the outdoor pavilion of the church. National Heights Prime Timers plan luncheon Prime Timers at National Heights Baptist church will have a covered dish luncheon Thursday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship hall.
