Fayetteville Christian plans Global Outreach Festival Sept. 28-30 Fayetteville Christian Church will have its Global Outreach Festival Friday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 30 with special events planned all weekend. The festival will kick off Friday at 7 p.m. with Tim Hudson from the University of Georgia Campus Ministries and "Atoned, " a music/drama group from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tenn. Following the service, refreshments will be served and church mission displays will be available. Saturday afternoon from 3-6 p.m., children in grades K-5 will be treated to an imaginary airplane trip in the gym to visit mission works around the world. At 7 p.m. Saturday, "According to John" will perform in concert in the sanctuary. There is a $5 admission fee. Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., missionaries will speak at several Bible Fellowship classes and at 10:30, the Sunday service will feature Dean Davis and "Atoned," both from Johnson Bible College. Davis is director of church relations at Johnson. Lunch will be served following the service. Fayetteville Christian is on the corner of New Hope and Hickory Roads in Fayetteville.
