Holy Trinity teens host Catholic college fair this weekend

Hundreds of local students and representatives from colleges and universities throughout the country will flock to McIntosh High School this weekend, when the Life Teen Program of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City hosts the Third Annual Catholic College Fair, Sunday, Sept. 16, at 7:30 p.m., following the 6 p.m. Life Teen Mass..

The Fair will be held at the McIntosh High School cafeteria on Walt Banks Rd. next door to the church.

Representatives from at least 26 renowned Catholic colleges will be available to discuss their academic and sports programs, as well as scholarships and financial aid available to students of all faiths.

"We expect students, parents, and guidance counselors from at least four Catholic high schools, 14 area high schools, and 35 Catholic parishes to attend this outstanding event," said Tom Mahon, church spokesperson.

The following colleges and universities will have representatives available at the fair:

Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, N.C.; Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.; Christendom College, Front Royal, Va.; Christian Brothers University, Memphis, Tenn.; College of The Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass.; College of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph, Minn.; Fairfield University, Fairfield, Conn.; Fordham University, New York, N. Y.; Franciscan University of Steubenville, Steubenville, Ohio; John Carroll University, University Heights, Ohio;

Loyola University of New Orleans, New Orleans, La.; Marquette University, Milwau kee, Wis.; Mount Saint Mary's College, Emmitsburg, Md.; Providence College, Providence, R.I.; Saint Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, N.Y.; Saint John's University, Collegeville, Minn.; Saint Leo College, Saint Leo, Fla,; Saint Louis University, Saint Louis, Mo.; Saint Marys College, Notre Dame, Indiana; Saint Norbert College, DePere, Wis.;

McIntosh High School is on Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City, between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Pkwy.
