Children's Bible study offered at Inman

Inman United Methodist Church will offer special Bible study classes for children ages 8-12 each Wednesday night from 6-6:45 p.m. Entitled, "Kids Can Use the Bible," the classes will teach such skills as locating verses, using a Bible dictionary, using a Bible concordance, and using a Bible atlas. New Hope Baptist to host Prophecy Seminar

New Hope Baptist church in Fayetteville will host a Prophecy Seminar during the entire month of September, featuring Joe Cirigliano, M. Div., nationally known inspirational speaker on spiritual guidance and prophecy. Seminars are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8, Sunday, Sept. 9, Saturday, Sept. 15, Sunday, Sept. 16, Saturday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 23. Each session is planned for 7-8:30 p.m. in the church auditorium. Kickoff session is this Sunday evening. New Hope is at 814 New Hope Rd. off Ga. Hwy. 314.

Nativity marks Rally Day Sunday

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will mark Rally Day with a free picnic, following the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Sept. 9. Parents of children age four through fifth grade will meet for an orientation for the Children's Program at 9:30 a.m. Parents and youth will also meet for an introduction to "The Journey to Adulthood," a program of spiritual formation for youth in grades 6-12. Activities will include music, games for children, youth and adults, prizes and a "dunk" tank. Proceeds will go to the Fayette Samaritans. All are welcome. The church is at 130 Antioch Road. 'Women of the Bible' class to be offered at PCF

Suzanne Parrish of Peachtree Christian Fellowship will offer a Bible study class this fall which specifically examines the role of women in the Bible. The class is based on Ann Spangler's text, "Women of the Bible," and will be offered each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. Peachtree Christian Fellowship now meets in the new facility at 640 Ebenezer Church Rd. near Peachtree City. Fayetteville Christian offers new service

The Fayetteville Christian Church will offer a new Sunday morning ministry and outreach opportunity with a chapel service from 8:30-9:15 a.m., in additional to the regular worship service at 10:30. This is on a trial basis for the months of September and October. The service is designed to provide worship opportunities for those who are unable to attend the 10:30 service or for those who prefer a more hymn-based style of worship. Providence plans churchwide yard sale

Senior adult luncheon planned at PTC UMC

Calvary Temple in PTC schedules yard sale

Calvary Temple Assembly of God church in Peachtree City will have a yard sale Saturday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parking lot of the church. All funds raised from the sale will go toward supporting the teen ministry in its goal of raising $1,200 for Speed The Light, an overseas missions program, which provides automobiles for missionaries all over the world.
