Invasion of illegals is unjust, bad for U.S.

This letter is to make some comments about the Citizen Opinion about amnesty. We believe this invasion of illegal Mexicans is not only bad for the country but also for towns where they are congregating.

For instance, a few years ago, there used to be a handful of them living in Peachtree City. For the last six to 10 months at least a hundred have moved to Grenoble Road and Morgan's Turn. They are invading the streets, playing soccer, riding bicycles, playing very loud music, parking lots of cars, trucks, and golf carts, so that is almost impossible to get into our own homes.

We ask ourselves, where are all the jobs for so many, because this town doesn't have a lot of business.

They don't speak English and don't want to learn it. They pretend that all the Americans speak Spanish so they are understood, and at the same time they don't have to speak the official language of the United States. In the news, we hear almost everyday that the official employees, police, etc., are taking some Spanish so they can communicate; they say it is a necessity. Don't you think it should be the other way around?

The proposal to legalize millions of illegal Mexicans is insane, unfair and unjust for people from other countries that want to come here legally, millions of people that are better educated and at least have some knowledge of the English language. We agree with your German friend when he says that this country gives a hard time to people from countries other than Mexico when they apply for visas to come here even as visitors.

We can't give our names because we don't want to have a bad incident with these people, but we would like to see more about this matter in your newspaper. Thank you.
