Peachtree National Bank President and CEO Ron Duffey recently announced Tommy Whaley Jr. has joined the bank as vice president and commercial lender in the Riverdale office.

"Peachtree National Bank recently opened an office in Fayetteville and are planning to open another in Henry County in the spring of 2002. He is a great addition to our team of experienced leaders," Duffey said. Whaley is a native of Griffin and attended Griffin High School. He is a graduate of Georgia State University and received a bachelor of business administration in finance.

Whaley and his wife, Gina, have lived in Sharpsburg for five years.

Peachtree National is headquartered in Peachtree City and has seven locations in Fayette and Clayton counties.
