Local banker named to state board of directors Gary McGaha, president and CEO of Southern Community Bank, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia for 2001-2002. The CBA is a nonprofit organization serving community banks throughout the state. CBA board members represent the 10 divisions of the state, so that all community banks are equally represented, with board members assuming a one-year term, starting Oct. 1. McGaha has lived in Fayette County since 1963 and has served in banking for more than 36 years. He is a past director of Main Street Fayetteville, as well as the Fayetteville Downtown Development Authority. |
