New two-story office building set for PTC

SST Properties LLC recently broke ground on a new class A, multi-tenant office building known as Westpark North on Commerce Drive North in Peachtree City.

Group VI Corporation was selected as the general contractor for the 12,000-sq. ft., two-story brick building and will begin construction immediately. Westpark North, in Peachtree City's Westpark Office Center, will be completed in spring 2002.

The principles of SST Properties are Paul Schwinne of Peachtree City and Steve Samson of Tyrone.

"We are very excited to bring this project to Peachtree City, an area now established as the most successful office development in the south metro area," said Scwinne.

Group VI was also selected to represent the building to potential tenants and has begun pre-leasing activities. The building features direct fiber optic cable connections, high-speed Internet access and digital communications for each tenant.

The 1.2-acre site was purchased from Pathway Communities. The building was designed by Jea Chong Modal AI Inc. in Atlanta and financing for the project is being provided by Regions Bank of Fayette County.
