Football season gets underway tonight

There are several high school football games tonight, including Fayette County and McIntosh, which has become one of the biggest rivalries in the county.

Lady Chief softball team starts season 2-2

The McIntosh Lady Chiefs varsity softball team has a 2-2 record so far this season. The team, coached by Stacey Smith, beat Newnan and Riverdale and lost to Starr's Mill and Fayette County.
