Band noise
level overwhelmed amphitheater-supplied earplugs
Marshall Tucker Band, you are an insult to our sensibilities! We want to hear the music, clap our hands, dance the night away and croon along, not be blasted out of our seats by Chastain-level volume. [Amphitheater Director] Kristi [Rapson], shame on you for being there Friday night and not doing anything about the volume. Saturday was unbearable, as all the people walking out can attest to. If the amphitheater management does not have final rights to volume control in each and every contract, then it needs to, just for our sanity. I appreciate the ear plugs from the box office, but it still wasn't enough. Give me Judy Collins, Paul Anka and Bobby Vinton any day. The variety has been wonderful, but we have to enjoy from our seats, not the parking lot. Marshall Tucker Band, do not come back! Cynthia Freeman Peachtree City
