Shop Talk Hoshizaki's Angie Warren, customer service representative/national accounts, was recently awarded "Outstanding Service Support Person" at the Subway Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Subway has been purchasing Hoshizaki equipment for approximately four years. Quality and customer service were key to Hoshizaki earning the Subway business. "Outstanding service allows us to maintain the business and build on our existing relationship as new products are introduced," said a spokesman. Warren received the recognition among more than 250 suppliers that service Subway. Peachtree City's Heel Sew Quik is participating in Shoes for the Homeless drive. Old shoes in need of repair can be dropped off at the Peachtree City store starting Sept. 5. The store is next to Kroger in the Braelinn Village Shopping Center. The shoes will be sent to the franchise's headquarters in Atlanta, where future franchisees will repair the shoes as part of their technical training. The shoes will be repaired to almost new condition and donated to the homeless and needy through charitable agencies. The Peachtree City owner, Ed Williams, has been in the shoe business for nearly 15 years and stresses community involvement as part of his business. A new collection agency has opened in Tyrone. American Arbitration and Recovery Group is at 1130 Senoia Road, Suite B-1 in Tyrone. Bob Green is CEO of the company, while Andre Polishuk is director of marketing and development. The company specializes in debt collection and commercial debt collection. American Arbitration has over 50 years of collection experience and tailors its collections to meet the client's needs. The company arbitrates judgments placed against companies and is the only full-service collection agency in Fayette County, said a spokesman.
