Peachtree City Methodist Church to offer 13-week DivorceCare seminar

The Peachtree City United Methodist church will sponsor a 13-week DivorceCare seminar beginning Thursday, Aug. 30, from 7-9 p.m. The program is nondenominational and features Biblical teaching for those recovering from divorce and separation.

Among the topics for the seminar are discussions on learning to face anger, depression and loneliness, financial survival, dealing with kids, forgiveness, reconciliation, making new relationships, and growing closer to God.

The seminar features videotapes of sessions with nationally known experts on divorce and recovery such as Dr. Robert Aharno, Larry Burkett, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Myles Monroe and H. Norman Wright. Classes are led by Barbara Hudson and Kevin McCormick.

DivorceCare is open to the community and will meet in room 303 at the Peachtree City UMC, located on the corner or Windgate Rd. and Peachtree Pkwy. in Peachtree City.
