Sports Calendar The Peachtree City Tennis Center's ladies beginner tennis league is having registration for their upcoming season. The league is a great way to meet new players and to learn the game. The Fayette County 4-H Shotgun Club will have their range open for clay target shooting, as a fundraiser, on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The range is located off Ga. Hwy 85, approximately seven miles south of Fayetteville. Admission donations are $5 for adults and $2.50 for high school students and younger. Price does not include ammunition. Fayette County Middle School will have a volleyball club starting Aug. 20. The club will meet two afternoons a week at the New Hope Baptist Church sports facility and will be led by Joe Cockrell. The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville announces registration for Fall Indoor Muppet Soccer, a league for four and five year oldsborn between Aug. 1, 1995 and July 31, 1997. System U Speed is now recruiting people interested in the highly competitive sport of inline speed skating. The team is currently practicing Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:30 to 6:30 at the Newnan Skate Palace.
