Ramah First Baptist plans homecoming Aug. 19

Ramah First Baptist Church in Palmetto will have its homecoming celebration Sunday, Aug. 19, with a full day of activities planned. The day's events include Sunday school, morning worship at 11 a.m., lunch on the grounds and an afternoon concert by Emmaus Road.

FFUMC Ladies plan August tea

The United Methodist Women of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a tea for all ladies of the church Sunday, Aug. 26, from 2-4 p.m. in the church Fellowship hall. North Fayette UMC sets carnival for Aug. 18

North Fayette United Methodist Church will have a back-to-school carnival Saturday, Aug. 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the church. Featured activities will include rides, games and a cakewalk. Food will also be available. The admission fee of $5 is good for unlimited rides. North Fayette is at 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. For more information, call the church, 770-461-2409.

Peachtree City Church of Christ sets 'Family Day'

The Peachtree City Church of Christ will have Family Day Sunday, Aug. 26, featuring guest speaker Glenn Colley from Collierville, Tenn. Colley will speak on "Tending the Children" at the 9:30 a.m. Bible study, "Keeping Our Families Pure in an X-Rated Society" at the 10:30 a.m.service, and "Learning How to Sing Solomon's Song" at the 6 p.m. service. Rob Baker of Henderson, Tenn., will lead the singing. The church is at 201 South Peachtree Pkwy. in Peachtree City.
