Sorry about Dr. Rückl . . .

As a fellow immigrant from Germany (Grand, East and West) and a man without letters, I would like to apologize to all and sundry for the ramblings of Dr. Gunther Rückl.

I don't have an umlaut (ü) on my keyboard. What we see here, however, is the result of the reeducation, or better, brainwashing, of the German populace, instituted by the victors of World War II. If a modern-day German can even be engaged in any kind of contemporary debate (most of them shy away at the outset), for the most part one is confronted by the same misguided opinions we have been reading in The Citizen.

I have lost family members in this debate. Is it any surprise that the Social Democrats and the Greens form today's German government? I am wearing the armor of truth.
