Wreck wipes Tyrone racer out of event

Wade Knowles of Tyrone had a little bad luck in the Late Models race Saturday night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock.

Knowles was running second on lap 26 when he tried to pass several cars on the high side while the leader passed on the inside. The Tyrone racer collided with Shane Goode of Stockbridge, ending his chances for the evening.

Another Tyrone racer, Jeff Mann, finished second in the Cruisers feature race.
