Local youth to compete at regional horse show
Megan Troesken and her horse Count Me In will represent Fayette County at the Southern Regional Championships in Memphis Aug. 3-7. The pair combined for a third place win in the Senior Hunt Seat Division at the state championships the last week in June. Troesken is a member of the Fayette County 4-H Horse and Pony Club. This is the second time Troesken and Count Me In have qualified for the Southern Regional Championships, but it will be the first time they have been able to attend. Troesken was also selected to serve as a state delegate at the event. Contributions are being sought to offset the cost of the trip. Tax-deductible donations may be sent to the Fayette County Extension Service, 140 Stonewall Ave., Suite 209, Fayetteville, Ga., 30214. Checks should be made out to Fayette County 4-H. |
